Stephanie Linus lends voice to walk against sex trafficking.

The Nollywood actress wrote;

If these streets could talk, they will tell a lot of stories. On this very sidewalk, the dreams of countless girls and women have been snatched from them as they were forced, oppressed and sold as commercial sex workers.

According to the International Organisation for Migration (IOM), there has been an almost 600% increase in the number of potential sex trafficking victims arriving in Italy by Sea since 2014. Many of these women were kidnapped against their will or lured with the promise of greener pastures.

Their stories brought me here, and the hope of a better future encourages me to keep walking. It's time to do something about it. It's time to raise our voices for these vulnerable ones. Join me on this walk.
