It is just January but we can officially crown 2016 the year of beefs. Blackface has responded to his former friend and group member 2face Idibia who he called out a while ago for stealing his song. 2face responded days back and this led blackface to address the issue again.
While speaking with Hip TV, the singer made reference to Adele's current issue with Lionel Richie over her hit track Hello, he said things like this can happen down here too. Your favourite artiste can be copy cats here as well he stressed.
The Hardlife singer added that;
First, 2face used to be my friend, I used to write songs with him. I used to write songs that he knows that this is my song and I know that this song is his song. There are some songs that I know belong to him and some belong to me. “Let Somebody Love You” for example is my song.
