About twenty kids were saved from death in a burning bus after a courageous driver took actions that led to them being rescued on time. Renita Smith, driver of the school bus saved the kids in her bus just in time before it burst into flames.
Smith while speaking to ABC revealed that the whole thing started when the dashboard on the bus started beeping and she detected smoke. While calling for a back-up vehicle, she saw the flames.
“I put the mic back down, undid my seatbelt, jumped up, got my babies and got off,” she told ABC News today. “Once we got off, neighbors kicked right into ‘Mommy mode,’ as I call it, and helped the kids get to a safe haven. She said.
When that was going on, I ran back onto the bus to make sure there was no children on the bus. … By the time I got to the last step on the bus, it just went up in smoke.” She added

Imagine if she had gone into panic mode and deserted the bus.
Glad they got out unharmed.
