"Change from within". Yoruba actress Opeyemi Ayoola's message to followers.

Yoruba actress Opeyemi AYoola shared a message to her followers in a post she titled "Change from within" . According to the mother of two who relocated after getting married internal change is very important. She wrote;

When the prodigal son came back remorseful, his father accepted him and threw him a party. Between when he left his father’s house and when he returned, he was repentant. Something happened in him before a celebration was packaged for him. There was internal change before the party happened. Before he got a better future, he did something internal with an eternal value.

Friends, when you want to recreate your future, do something internal that has eternal value. Make necessary changes; improve in areas where there is need for improvement; correct the errors of the past; walk away from mistakes that have held you back; discard bad behaviours and attitudes; change negative mindsets; discard negative relationships; do away with everything in you that brought you to a sorry pass.
You don’t walk into a better future by being stuck in the rot that tied you to your current level. You don’t make your enterprise better by doing the things that crumbled it in time past; you don’t rise higher in your career by doing the things that cause others to be preferred above you. You don’t gain and operate in God’s favour by doing the things that work contrary to the favour you seek.
When you grow out of your negative past, then you are ready to embrace the future that God has ordained for you.
Get over your past and old ways; embrace the newness in Christ; don’t allow your past to be carried over into your future.
Galatians 5 vs. 1 says: “Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.”
Declare With Me: I am committed to change from within; the past does not define me anymore .Be encouraged!
