German Consulate hosts "My new Nigeria Free From Corruption"


German Consulate Lagos hosts the EFCC/Creative Youth Initiative Against Corruption at their Walter Carrington Crescent Office on Friday November 25th, 2016.

This is the first time that the "My New Nigeria Free From Corruption" paintings , which were completed by the CYIAC 2016 finalists earlier on Friday 18th November, 2016 during the live painting and literary Arts Competition held at the Freedom Park,

Lagos Island will be exhibited. The Finalists representing sixteen (16) schools from different parts of Lagos State had emerged from 120 Students-Participants (drawn from 60 Schools- Primary and Secondary) who took part in a one-day intensive audition on November 9, 2016.

The Project which was declared open in Abuja on October 4, 2016 by the EFCC Chairman, Mr Ibrahim Magu where he noted that
"CYIaC is currently partnering with primary and Secondary Schools within Nigeria to identify talented children and youth with vision for a corruption-free Nigeria. Our aim is to inuculate in them, values that will make them grow into young responsible citizens.
Their creativity will be showcased through various creative mediums; Painting, Drama, Writing, Reading, Singing, Information Technology and Inventions".

The Project will be rounded up at the Nigeria Stock Exchange,

Stock Exchange House Lagos on December 1, 2016. The nationwide Campaighn against corruption will also be launched during the Grand Finale
