Sometime in April this year, it was revealed that YBNL act Lil Kesh was leaving the label barely four months after his failure to win the Next Rated act at the Headies led to a media meltdown between Mavin's Donjazzy and Olamide that shook the whole country.
Many thought this was as a result of a sour relationship with the two but Olamide set the record straight recently In an interview with Soundcity 98.5 Fm.
The Konkobility singer said Keshy as he is fondly called did not leave the label but created his own label under the YBNL umbrella.
He further clarified for Moet Abebe, who was interviewing him saying "“Lil Kesh is still with us, but he’s got his own label, the label (YAGI) is under YBNL.”
