Businessman Tony Elumelu visits president Buhari at the state house.

Managing Director of United bank of Africa (UBA) Tony Elumelu paid a visit to the president at the state house and here is what he had to say about the visit.
Ever since I retired as a banking executive, I have dedicated my life to creating a paradigm shift in Africa by investing across the continent in a way that creates both economic wealth for all stakeholders as well as social prosperity for Africans.

In my day job as Chairman of @heirsholdings I wake up everyday with a drive to improve lives in Africa and to transform the continent. As Chairman of the United Bank for Africa #ubagroup , with an already impressive track record of investing in every economy in which we operate across Africa, 19 in total, and in employment creation, my ambition has been no different.

Yesterday, wearing both these hats, I signed two MOUs with top private sector institutions who came along with the King of Morrocco on his state visit to Nigeria. We will be partnering, @ubagroup with Attijariwafa Bankand @HeirsHoldings with Banque Centrale Populaire to invest across Africa. I am pleased to have found fellow travelers in this journey to transform Africa, even more so that I have found partners in North Africa.

I look forward to executing on these promising partnerships.
