Mortuary attendants stormed a burial site to seize a dead body over unpaid debt leaving many shocked. According to a Ghanaian Facebook User Efo Maidoff, Family members of the deceased did not pay the full amount to the mortuary man and had successfully smuggled the body from the mortuary while the attendances were busy.
Once they realized, The mortuary men stormed the cemetery , opened the coffin and carried the body away.
Efo wrote;
Some funny thing happen at the cemetery yesterday. A family who did not pay the full amount to the mortuary man to dress their corpse for them but managed to smuggle the body at the blind side of the mortuary men whiles they were busy dressing other bodies .
The mortuary men stormed the cemetary , opened the coffin and carried the body away for some friends to cross them and paid the balance. Do you know the amount owed ? GHC 40.00
