Following the release of her book "On Becoming" which has been very successful and described as a best seller, Toke's ex husband who she accused of cruelty while they were married has filed a lawsuit against her for defamation. He is suiting for 100 million Naira.
In typical Toke fashion. the media personality has been mute to the lawsuit. She finally responded to it in a her recent vlog. She told her fans.
'As you guys might have heard, there is a lot going on in the news. The little that I have, let's just hope I have it after a while. For all the people that reached out to me, my lawyers are on it, I don't think you have anything to worry about, that's all I'll say'.
The highly successful "On Becoming" has seem Toke embarking on tours around Nigeria, Ghana and the UK to mention a few to promote her book and share her experience.
She was recently interviewed by BBC.
