Olatunde’s long journey to jail began after the victim, Sunday Aligbe, handed some cars to him to sell.
However, Olatunde later sold the cars without informing Aligbe. When Aligbe realized that the cars had been sold, he made frantic efforts to retrieve his money.
Olatunde was said to have paid back the sum of N1, 200,000. 00 (One Million, Two Hundred Thousand Naira) to Aligbe, after much pressure.
Delivering his judgment today, Justice Jose ordered the convict to pay the balance of N600, 000 (Six Hundred Thousand Naira) to the victim.
The judge also ordered the convict to shun ‘‘walking the fast lane in life.’’
