The former governor paid a courtesy visit to the former aviation minister at home. His wife, Precious was also present. Writing about the visit, the former aviation minister said;
It was an honor for Precious and I to receive my friend and brother former Governor of Abia state, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, who came to share in our joy and see our three beautiful new sons. He is a good friend and a great guy! That is what you call politics without bitterness.
