Sequel to the complaint received by the Commissioner of Police, Kwara State Police Command, Ilorin, Cp Fafowora Bolaji Olaniyi, to the effect that some men of the Nigeria Police, attached to the Police Training School, Ilorin assaulted the above subject over an issue that could ordinarily be resolved if professionalism was brought to bear by parties concerned, which resulted in the ugly situation.

The command wishes to state with every sense of responsibility that the situation is highly regretted, command's sympathy extended to the victim, while investigation into the matter has been directed by the Commissioner of Police, whoever is found wanting through act of omission or commission will be summarily sanctioned. 

The command wishes to also reiterate that, misunderstanding of this nature should not be allowed to create a clog in the wheel of partnership that is in existence between the Nigeria Bar Association, Kwara branch and the Kwara State Police Command.

Kwara State Police Command under the leadership of Cp Fafowora Bolaji Olaniyi, will never allow the rights of any citizen to be trampled on by any officer or men of the Command, members of the Nigerian Bar Association and members of the public are assured that justice will be done in this particular matter as in others, please.
