Three Armed Robbers Nabbed in Taraba

On 25th July, 2015 at about 9:47pm, Police received a report that at about 7:00pm three armed men on a motorcycle forced a petrol seller/phone charger at Kpankunfu village to fill their motorcycle tank at gun point.

After the tank was filled, the hoodlums snatched the sum of N12,000 from the victim and also took 19 mobile phones being charged away. The men were also reported to have shot into the air before leaving.

However, youths in the area mobilized and gave the hoodlums a hot chase during which the rider suspect lost control of the motorcycle and all fell into a pit. The three suspects were taken to the hospital where Doctors pronounced them dead. State CIID Jalingo is investigating.
