Food Poisoning - Student Poison Hostel mates with cake laced with Indian Hemp

On 2nd September, 2015 at about 9:00pm, Police received report that one Bassey Aniakan 'm' a student of Delta State University, Abraka took a cake to the hostel which was shared among some students in the room. That after eating the cake, a 17yr-old female student of same institution started behaving abnormally and was rushed to the hospital for medical attention.

Meanwhile, the said Bassey Aniakan was arrested and he stated that he added Indian hemp to the ingredients used in baking the cake. Victim responding to treatment at hospital, State CIID Asaba is investigating.
