Drama as Toke Makinwa's wedding dress retails for $138

There is a little controversy about Toke Makinw's wedding dress is available online for a mere $138  which is about 35,000 Naira depending on the rate of conversion you want to use. I used 220 which is reasonable considering the time she got married.

I was minding my own business when something (unusual) came to my attention. For those who did not know, this is Toke Makinwa. This was her supposedly surprise court wedding dress that was designed by her best friend, owner of Elizabeth's place...

Anyway the issue here is that a certain seller in China displayed her photograph on eBay, claiming to design the exact same dress. One can only imagine if Toke purchased her dress from EBay/Aliexpress or is this a case of a Chinese tailor determined to use Toke's photos to sample her skills online.

The fact that the manufacturer of this dress had to use Toke's picture to promote his dress got me wondering if he is the real mischief maker and not Toke. He found a picture of Toke's dress, loved it and decided to use it to promote his sales.

Or just maybe that is some customer feedback? His way to showing his buyer photos of some of his previous clients?
