Awww, Toke Makinwa is getting a little bit emotional this Christmas. It has been a very tough year for her. And all the drama were played out publicly.
- The public breakup and make up with her Maje over his refusal to define their relationship
- Then they suddenly got married leaving fans stunned
- When we thought all was finally good, the Shocker! he got his side chic of 8 years pregnant
- Toke was devastated.
But one thing was clear, she was devastated but strong. Toke put on a brave face during the whole drama and she is still staying strong but of course, even strong people get weak sometimes.
In a post on her page. Toke seems to be a little emotion. It is her first Christmas without her husband Maje in a long while who she has dated for over 13 years before they finally got married.
Toke wrote :
Merry Christmas again, still crushing on these amazing photos. I wasn't going to celebrate much this year, I didn't even put my tree up. The devil tries to steal your Joy and you owe it to you to overcome. You owe God so much more praise and thanksgiving too. I have had amazing things happen to/for me this year, God has been amazing and my team have worked really hard so I gave in.
But it has been a good year for Toke career wise,
- She is still the top Vlogger in Nigeria
- She is still one of the top radio presenters
- She got recognized by YouTube for her Vlog
- Ambassador to various brands
- Tv presenter with Mo Abudu's - Ebony Life TV
- She is living the life!!!!!!
