How Wizkid smashed & damaged the microphone at the Ghana Music award rehearsal stage.

News reaching me from a very reliable source suggests that Wizkid angrily smashed his microphone on the floor during the soundcheck at the Ghana Music Awards. Was he acting out or he is justified in his actions? Read on.

Wizkid was said to have gotten to the venue right on time for soundcheck ( you can agree he tried! No pompous behaviour or African timing) but to his surprise, the organizers of the show were not ready and he was delayed for many hours. He kept his cool like a good Nigerian boy that he is but soon got upset after the organizers told him to end his reharsals because the time for the show was getting closer.

Can you imagine? after waiting for hours!! What did Wizkid do? Well, he finally lost his cool and smashed the microphone on the floor. The mic was damaged. He also shouted angrily at the organizers wanting to know if it was his fault that they started late.

At the end of the day, he was calmed down and taken away. He later performed and also won the top rated award as the Best African act.

There you have it. Was he justified in his action or he was just acting  out like a typical celebrity?
