Former chocolate city rapper now owner of Super CoolCats records (what a name?) is not keen on signing female singers to his record label for many reasons. The rapper is following the same thought pattern maintained by YBNL boss Olamide Adedeji who later had to sign a female when he met the extra talented Temmie Ovwasa.
Speaking at the launch of his new label, he cited the fact that female singers costs a lot of maintain as one of the reasons he will not be signing a female artiste. However, he did not rule out the option completely.
I don’t really know if I will have many women in Super Cool Cats record label, he said. I know is that they are very expensive to maintain. You have to take care of their hairs, makeups, creams and so on. And you know what they use is different and more expensive than their male counterparts.
