Mark Zuckerberg to Bill Gates : thank you for being a role model and mentor -- both in technology and philanthropy

There is so much power in this room. Two great men wiu big hearts came togeher to discuss and it is nice to think about the outcome of such meetings. Both men has made impact in technology and philanthropy and it is even interesting to know that Mark Zuckerberg, founder of Facebook considers Bill Gates a role model.

Here is what he wrote after their meeting.. 

Thanks to Bill Gates for stopping by our Chan Zuckerberg Initiative announcement today! Bill and Melinda's work on eradicating diseases like polio and malaria is a big reason we're so optimistic that together we can cure all diseases in our children's lifetime.

Bill, thank you for being a role model and mentor -- both in technology and philanthropy -- and for continuing to teach us so much.
