In the course of interacting with friends, family and people on social media. It is funny to note that the idea of marriage varies. While some see it as something to be enjoyed others see it as responsibility.
Beat Fm host shared the tweet above and a reply from a fan caught my eye. He sees marriage as a responsibility. Well, why so, are you not responsible before marriage? Do not get me wrong, it will definitely increase in marriage but if you have been able to embrace responsibility while single it should not be a problem in marriage.
Many people see responsibility from the financial angle but there is more to it. Below definitions from Dictionary.com.
- The state or fact of having a duty to deal with something or of having control over someone.
- The state or fact of being accountable or to blame for something.
Responsibility could be financial, mental or even physical. It could be a duty to yourself, your family or friends to support, correct, control.
