North Korea: Defence Chief Executed

The  Defence chief in North Korea have been executed. While this comes as no shock to most people, it is still a cause of outrage worldwide everytime North Korea under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.

According to Yahoo News, Hyon Yong Chol, 66, who headed the isolated country's military, was charged with treason, including disobeying Kim and falling asleep during an event at which North Korea's young leader was present, according to South Korean lawmakers briefed in a closed-door meeting with the spy agency on Wednesday.

it will be recalled that the president was ridiculed in the widely controversial american comedy " the interview" which started Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. This led to north Korea threatening the United states if Columbia went ahead with the release of the movie. while Columbia delayed releasing  the movie, it was eventually released in December 2014.
