President Muhammadu Buhari todau, Friday, June 12, 2015 appointed Mohammed Dikwa as the Accountant General of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The appointment takes immediate effect.
Premium times reports that;
Until his appointment, Mr. Dikwa was the Director, Funds Department in the Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation.
Mr. Dikwa would hold the office until a substantive Accountant-General is appointed by the president.Mr. Dikwa, who holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy and a Masters in Business Administration and Finance, attended the Senior Executive Course 34, 2014 at the National Institute of for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru. He was awarded Certificates in Public Finance Management Reforms, Leadership and Governance, High Performance Leadership Programme and Treasury Management at the Harvard University, USA; University of Cambridge, Oxford University in the UK, and Thames Valley University UK respectively.
