Good News Empire fans! Our beloved Grace Gealey (Anika) and Trai Byers (Andre Lyon) are engaged. Trai proposed to Grace on her Birthday and she said Yes! The couple, who met on the set of Empire felt a spark ignite between them while filming the hit show and the rest is History.
Grace plays the role of Anika (Luscious Girlfriend / Ex Fiancee) who was set to become a step mother to Andre (Trai) but her relationship with Luscious fell apart after Cookie( Taraji P Henson) got out of prison and mess things up ( in a fun way)
Trai proposed the traditional way by getting down on his knees during her birthday party and asked her to marry him. He got a thrilled yes.

There are reports that their co stars are not so happy with their relationship.
Due to the fact that they are scared that if something go wrong it would affect the show.
And many of them believe the feelings are just as a result of being around each other too much
