Patience is a virtue they say but how many of us are willing to be patient in a society dominated by excessive competition, greed and covetousness . I was speaking to a friend earlier today and our discussions inspired this post.
The basis of our conversation? Well she was of the opinion that with the way that the society is now, one must confirm or be left behind to which i totally disagree! This led to our intense and interesting arguments which i find very interesting enough to make a post about.
According to her, good girls finish last! Funny but interesting. Do (we) good girls really finish last?
Runs girls are getting married to "Big men" while good girls are either there managing with a man or being treated badly by "men of nowadays" who have become clueless as to what it means to treat a woman right.
This led me to the question, Why are you a good girl? Are you a good girl because you want society and the opposite sex to accept you as good enough or it is who you are? If you are a good girl because you feel it is the right way then it would be more difficult for you than for someone who is just being themselves while exhibiting attributes that can be used to describe a good girl
Must i be a good girl? The term good girl is highly relative. Who is a good girl? Todays society tends to think in line with sex so much that on the surface, the term good girl would mean a not too sexually exposed female. That should count for something but what about the other traits|? Is a rude virgin a good girl? Is a virgin thief a good girl? Does the absent of sexual expertise suddenly equal good girl? The answer for me is No.
A good girl is a woman who is so comfortable in her skin, fair to others and highly responsible. Crazy definition right? because what do we mean when we say responsible? Emotionally, financially, sexually or what?
My conclusion would be for every woman to define and decide what is real and what is not for her and live by the principles of those definitions.
Be good, do good and good will find you.

nice post. it is a difficult topic though. I believe that majority of the society agree on who a good/bad girl is, at least some features, but civilisation has made the notion of 'good 'highly subjective.
