It is always important to "Look back and give thanks". Highly flambouyant Veejay , event host, actor Denrele Edun is in the mood to look back and give thanks for how far he has come. The eccentric star share the above photo of his days as Master X on the popular sitcom :Everyday people" with a heart warming message and thanks to show producer Tajudeen Adepetu.
He started off with a reference to Adele's Hello....
HELLO...Its Me. They say that time's supposed to "change" ya, but I ain't done much "changing". HELLO...can u hear me? I'm in "Lekki phase 1" now dreaming about who I used to be, When I was younger and free....Did I ever make it outta that "Yaba" town where it all started to happen?#Adele #Hello
#FlashbackFriday to 1998/1999 when I was "Master X" on the most watched soap "Everyday People" by @tajadepetu (who gave me my major break with Soundcity TV). But Kai, I was always Fashion Forward and perhaps, a tad too crass
(I still am sha). Photo credit by the amazing Aunty Sidi who's in d pic with me and was our Logistics manager Abi na Welfare director sef...can't recall! One person who stood by me through this phase deserves a standing ovation & that's my @titithedynamite "before before" (as she calls me)!
Truth is, you will never say goodbye to the past until you understand why the flashbacks haunt you!
Denrele is special!!!
Everyday people was one of Nigeria's biggest Sitcom and it features legendary stars like the Late Sam Loco Efe, Desmond Elliott , oluke Daramola and many more.
