The whole Lyon clan can sing or rap but many of us wonder if we will ever get to see the lead female character Cookie Lyon Played by Taraji .P. Henson sing. In a show that is so focused on the music, it will not be a suprised. But can cookie really sing? Here is what her on screen son and real like close friend Jamal real names Jussie Smollett told Mesfin Fekadu of Associated Press;
"She sings her *butt* off. People don't know that. She's so incredible. She has a beautiful voice. She is a trained theater actress, so she knows musical theater and all of that."
"She has a beautiful voice." I don't know if she's going to sing on the show, but we've being trying to get her to sing on the show. She's just scared to go in the damn studio. I'm like go into the studio and record something. You have a great voice."
