Popular Nigerian gay activist Bisi Alimi is in Nigeria recently for the 2015 edition of Ake Arts and Book Festival. The event held at the June 12 Cultural Centre, Kuto-Abeokuta, in Ogun State.
About the trip, he said; coming back to Nigeria has been a blessing. It might never be home anymore but it is still where the heart beats.
Bisi who has lamented severaly on social media about how he has not set eyes on his family for a long time got to see his mum again.
The last time he saw her was over 8 years ago after Nigeria became uncomfortable for him. He also took take her back to London.
