Rapper Big Sheff says being Salawa Abeni and Kollington's son is a Blessing and a curse

Rapper Big Sheff took the industry by storm last month when his stage performance with his mother Legendary singer Salawa Abeni went viral. Mother and son thrilled fans (both young and old) to a remix of her hit track "Gentle Lady". It was indeed the best of both worlds

Following his performance, Big Sheff has since attained a level of fame but as expected, it comes with some negativity. While some fans are giving him heat over his weight, others are pointing out that he got out so quickly because of his famous parents. Reacting to this a new interview conducted by Nonye Ben-Nwankwo and Ademola Olonilua for Punch  Big Sheff said;

“It goes both ways; sometimes, being the son of Salawa Abeni and Ayinla Kollington is both a blessing and a curse. There are some places I go to and if they see me, they are very warm towards me and everything goes smoothly. But there are some other places I would go to and they would be hostile towards me because of my parents. I have experienced both. Only time would tell if I can fit in my parents’ shoes. It would have been an easy thing if it was just one shoe I want to fit in but now, I have two big shoes I want to fit in. I think I am up for it anyway”
