Ghanian TV host and actress Joselyn Dumas recently partnered with the canadian high commision in her country in an effort to give back and raise awarement on violence against women and early child marriage. Speaking about the experience. Jocelyn said:
It was such an honor to be a part of and to witness the unveiling of a mural at the Canadian High Commission on Independence Avenue. The mural, which was unveiled by High Commissioner H.E. Christopher Thornley and the Honourable Nana Oye Lithur, Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection, is dedicated to Child Protection and the Elimination of Child, Early and Forced Marriage.
By raising awareness through art, we lend our voices to the international campaign to mark “16 Days of Activism – Unite to Orange the World” dedicated to the elimination of violence against women and aimed at advancing the commitments made at the African Girls Summit on ending Child Marriage in Africa last week
