Karrine Steffans speaks on Lil Wayne and fans obsession with their story

Karrine is same video vixen who wrote  a book "confessions of a video vixen" where she talked about her escapades with rappers. She once declared Lil Wayne as the love of her life and even had a fight with his former girlfriend Christina Milian on Instagram.

Fast forward to 2016, Karrine is no longer with Wayne and she even blasted him when his alleged tape sex tape was released. Karrine also had this to say;
I understand fandom and the obsession that comes with it, as well as the average person’s inability to move forward in life. While I have never been anyone’s fan, nor have I ever been stuck in the past, as a student of Psychology, I understand both mechanisms and why they exist for a vast majority of the population, including most of the people who have interviewed me over the years.
 They always ask me about Lil’ Wayne and it must be as annoying for you as it is for me. However, in my business, it’s not a great idea to refuse to answer questions everywhere you go, especially while on a promotional tour. So, instead of being a jerk about it, I do my best to answer questions with tact. In April 2015, I recorded an interview with @vladTV that was released in many parts beginning that June. Naturally, Vlad had a lot of questions about Wayne.
What you won’t see from that interview is when I asked Vlad why he (and others) asked me SO MANY questions about Wayne; he said it was b/c Wayne no longer does interviews.
 I understand that when someone isn’t around to tell their own story, others will tell it for them, which is why I opt to always tell my own and, as you know, Wayne had been a part of that story since 2007. However, I have not seen or spoken to Wayne since 2014. It is now 2016. My comments about always running back to him were about my 1st marriage in 2008 and my 2nd in 2011. No, I was not going to be faithful to unfaithful husbands, regardless, and I was more than happy to divorce both those people because of it.

In another @vladTV clip from that same interview, I plainly stated THAT relationship changed and I have NOT been around Wayne since before my relationship. But, naturally, that clip got less play than the other and it’s hard to keep up with a million little clips. I understand. But, no need to obsess about it anymore, you guys. It’s over, been over, and I know the both of us have no intentions of ever going back, under any circumstances, ever.

Never. Personal branding matters to me most at this point and stage in my literary and colligate career, so it's important to be clear about certain issues, not for fans but the entities that hire me.🎓

Ksrrine is currently studying for her PhD.
