Pierre Emerick Aubameyang emerges African Player of the Year


The four year Back 2 Back win by Yaya Toure has come to and end as Pierre Emerick Aubameyang has been named the African footballer of the year. Toure had won the top football prize in Africa from 2011 to 2014 but tonight, a new winner emerged.

Gabon striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang won the  CAF African Player of the Year and it was his first time winning the award. He slugged it out with Yaya Toure, Andre Aye. He got 143 points, Yaya got 136 while  Ayew got 112 points.
