The Nigerian Foreign Minister Mr. Geoffrey Onyeama has announced that the government of Switzerland would transfer $300 million to Nigeria which is part of amount recovered in the loot from the family of General Sani Abacha.
The funds are part of an estimated $5 billion which was stolen and then funneled into various foreign accounts by the then head of state.
