DJ cuppy, daughter of Femi Otedola has created a name for herself as a well established DJ in Africa and the world at large irrespective of her sex. She look forward to having more female DJ's join her at the top and she thinks she represents a new generation. She said this at the Afrikcan festival in Manhanntan New York. she said;

You know I feel like being a female DJ is such a unique thing, I do hope there is more female DJ to come. I think any female DJ has to be strong. You know being a strong African woman, I feel like I am representing a new generation. There are so many women that has ambitions. I want to show that us girls can do it as well as guys.
