Senate president Bukola Saraki launch the Skill acquisition, Training and Empowerment Programme (STEP) to empower youth to be self reliant.

The goal of STEP is to make participants globally competitive in the sectors for which they will be trained 

Under the Skills acquisition, Training & Empowerment Programme (STEP), 40,000 youths will be trained over the next 4 years with advanced skills that will focus on computer engineering, software development, animation, cinematography, agriculture ans other areas that can boost self-employment.
