Somebody needs to call Arik Air to order as it is no longer ok. Their actions is causing this country a lot of shame afterall, some foreigners get to experience the madness and take the story home. I am personally dissatisfied with their nonsensical approach to doing business and keeping customers happy but I thought why put it on the blog? that means it is personal.
This evening, wife of Peter Okoye, Lola Omotayo blasted them on her page and called them out on their crap and after reading the comment I was close to crying. These people are taking advantage of Nigerians and we have the Consumer Protection Council set up to protect consumers from being exploited and manipulated but are they working. We will find out because shortly after this post is up, I am going to send a complaint on behalf of Nigerians.
If you have ever had issues with them. Keep talking about it, on their page, make complains to EFCC, ICPC and CPC...Do not stop. If you have not, demand justice for those who are. You can submit a complaint on CPC's website by clicking Here

@flyarikair might be one of the biggest commercial Airlines in Nigeria today but apparently size doesn't matter when it comes to customer service! I am usually not a complainer but here is where my frustration reached its peak. A flight from PH to Lagos was supposed to leave at 2pm got moved to 4pm, 6pm and finally to 9pm and was later cancelled! Like how do you do that to people who keep you in business? Oh and the icing on the cake is when they asked passangers to return in the morning for a 9am flight and guess what? That got cancelled as well! Arik has had a terrible track record for delayed flights, apathetic ground staff, rude and unhelpful customer service and continue to treat people with no regard, no remorse and no compensation. Who you epp? This has got to STOP! Time is money and this is not the way to run an airline or treat people. The level of miscommunication by Arik staff is totally unacceptable. This airline is on a downward slide....Reliability is key! If you have to shut your airline down to get it right then do so or hire me to teach you a thing or two about customer service. For now I will pay more to avoid flying Arik period! Happy Holidays!"
They cancel flights recklessly and refuse to refund your money despite claims that it take 10 - 21 working days. After 21 working days , you will still not get your money. When this happened to me, I had to wait four almost 3 months after calls (Note, the number dedicated to refund do not pick up)... Ever. Which is what people on social media are also corroborating. How dare they cancel your flight and keep your money for months? what is that is your last cash. ARIK DO NOT CARE. What if someone needs to get to a job interview ARIK DO NOT CARE. what if it is a matter of life and death ARIK DO NOT CARE.....and we have people in this country responsible to protect customers??? I am in tears. It is no suprise that their staffs were reported to be owed 7 months salary...EFCC, ICPC, LABOUR .....Save Nigerians from Arik.
