The gruesome murder of Karabo Mokoena by her boyfriend Sandile Mantsoe is still shocking months after the incident. A friend and fellow church member of the accused says she is shocked to hear the news and she is still hurt.
“I was shocked to hear the news, honestly speaking, and I’m still hurt. For me, I’m not saying what he did was right, it was totally wrong.” She told EWN.
She says they are choosing to remain confident.
“At this moment we’re still trying to put the families together, trying to facilitate that and have them meet and talk and let them vent.”
Final arguments are expected to be heard next month, however the media will only be able to cover the bail decision as per a court order.
